Established in 2012 and officially recognized by the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Development, COMENSUM operates from the serene locale of Mtwapa Creek, Majaoni Kwa Kasa village, just 3 kilometers from Shanzu Teachers’ Training College.

At COMENSUM, our mission is to promote environmental sustainability and community empowerment through various initiatives aimed at conserving natural resources, fostering cultural heritage, and facilitating economic growth.

COMENSUM aspires to be a key player in the implementation of tourism and cultural heritage projects, collaborating with initiatives such as the Tourism and Cultural Heritage Project managed by Kwetu Training Centre. Through our collective efforts, we aim to contribute to the preservation of our natural and cultural heritage while promoting sustainable development and community wellbeing.
